Diana Prewitt - Co-Chair
Diana Prewitt’s professional background includes over 30 years of Human Resource management experience, serving in retail and trade association organizations. Diana graduated from The University of Texas with a BBA and teaching certification. She retired in 2018 after serving as HR Director for The Insurance Council of Texas for 17 years.
Patsy Trigg - Co-Chair
Patsy graduated from the University of Texas in 1973 with a double major in Math and Chemistry and a teaching certificate. She taught at Bastrop Independent School District for 38 years. One of those years was in Jr. High and the rest were at Bastrop High School. Patsy taught all math courses from remedial through Calculus and many sciences, and was the chair of the Math Department for about 15 years. She retired in 2012 and now spends her time with organizations, her family and her dairy goats. Patsy has been a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church since its very first day and greatly respect the people she works with at GSLS.
Donna grew up in rural Iowa and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BS in Interior Design with Business. Her early work history includes design, social work, and sales. She retired after nineteen years of working as the Leaves and Benefits Administrator in the Human Resources department at Bastrop Independent School District. She now spends her time reading, volunteering in organizations, and creating safe households by working as a Norwex Consultant.
Bethany Dietrich taught 10th grade English II and pre-AP English II for three years. She has worked at Lutheran church camps for 8 years in all roles from kitchen staff to program director, counseling kids K-12th grades. At camp, she wrote Bible Study curriculum for multiple summers. Bethany has also been an interim youth director and has been on multiple Christian Education and day camp/VBS committees at churches. Currently, she is the Young Adult Librarian at Bastrop Public Library and is a member at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, where she is on the council.
David Halbrook was a ISD Teacher/Coach for 37 years, retired 2007, Married to Vela Halbrook; school nurse. Coach Halbrook lead programs as Head Football coach at Bastrop, Reagan, and Manor. Coach joined Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in 1991. Vela and Coach have 2 children Clayton, and Kristin, 4 grandchildren; Landon David, Kennedy Marie, Brody and Brooks. "Good Shepherd Lutheran School is a wonderful opportunity to provide the Bastrop Area with a Christ based education.
